Sustainability Innovation Labs

Sustainability Innovation Labs (SILs) help turn Northeastern’s campuses into real-world classrooms for sustainability. These projects are led by students or faculty, done in partnership with Northeastern Sustainability, and designed to advance the university’s sustainability goals while engaging the broader campus community.
Types of
Projects
Sustainability Innovation Lab projects take many forms. They can be:

- Contribute to building regenerative economies, both locally and globally
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with our neighboring communities
- Leverage research and academics to advance systemic climate solutions
