In the classroom, and beyond
At Northeastern, learning is personalized and experiential, a perfect mix for tackling the thorny problems caused by climate change. You can create your academic path based on the problems you want to solve, integrating classroom learning with professional experiences—in research, service, policy, business—so deepening your knowledge, gaining new skills, and putting ideas into action toward the sustainability issues you care about.
Design your path
Northeastern’s increasing number of majors and academic pathways provide the depth and breadth of knowledge you need to understand and solve the interconnected challenges related to climate change.
Northeastern is a world leader in experiential learning, which integrates classroom learning and experience at research labs, companies, nonprofits, and government agencies around the world. Work in a lab on campus or at a research organization focused on the next big climate science discovery. Or pursue a six-month co-op, our signature experiential program, working at a sustainability nonprofit. Or help launch a new sustainability startup.
