We recently launched Northeastern’s Climate Justice Action Plan. One of the best ways for departments to support the implementation of the plan and help us reach higher sustainability standards is to create voluntary Sustainability Committees, and we can help! 

A departmental sustainability committee can be launched with just a few passionate staff members.  The Hub established a Sustainable Department Checklist to help guide your efforts. The Checklist serves as a menu of options for ways to incorporate sustainability and resiliency into your unit and provides the information and resources to do it.  

Join us for a quarterly meeting series aimed to support faculty and staff working to advance sustainability in their departments and across the university. These meetings will provide information, resources, and connections to help you incorporate sustainability into your work.  

Connect and share your ideas with us. The Working Group meets quarterly in September, November, February, and May. Meetings are virtual and open to faculty and staff across the global network.
